Roads and motorways play a crucial role in most of the development of society,city and nation whereas public transport is mandatory for the betterment of the local needs and demand of the people.Some think more money should be invested in roads and motorways while many think that government should invest in public transport.
Resources of the country should be used in enhancement of public transport more than roadways as we know traveling is our basic needs and used for daily work routine.Day by day population of the country is increasing and the need for transportation is also bulging, another reason might be the affordability of the local transport as we know private taxi or owned vehicle service is expensive most of the time. Improvising electric public transport will help in the reduction of pollution that is caused by diesel and petrol vehicles.People who are workers or laborers who need to travel on daily basis cannot afford private transportation, increasing local buses will give them relief economically.Metros known for their time saving technology and speed for moving one place to another need to be improvised for every places and currently there is a high demand of metro cities for infrastructural development also.
Investment should be such that is fruitful of numerous not for few.As per the current scenario improvisation of public transport is more needed than roadways as satisfaction of the people and fulfillment of their need should be the first priority of the government. Increasing roads and pathways might not help that much as increment of local transport can do.
