Nowadays, most people believe that engaging in teamwork enhances a person’s mental skills. However, this viewpoint seems a bit misguided to me, as individuals often have different opinions and may struggle to express themselves within a group.
Firstly, some people find working in a group to be challenging. For instance, when there are many ideas being shared but no one to manage them, it can lead to confusion. Unfortunately, it’s often understood that team members hold onto their own ideas, which may inhibit their intellectual growth and ultimately hinder the overall productivity of the group. This explains why teamwork frequently results in significant disagreements.
Secondly, others argue that when individuals change their approach to work, they are exposed to new technologies and ideas, which can improve their intellectual capabilities. Conversely, if they remain stagnant and work solely with teammates, it may negatively impact their skills and future career prospects. For example, some believe that working independently can foster personal growth because, if you face challenges, you will learn to overcome them on your own.
To sum up, everyone wants to express themselves and improve their intellectual skills through their work. People work diligently from morning until evening, constantly seeking new opportunities and experiences to showcase their abilities.
