It is commonly believed that the donations and help should be provided for the people in need, no matter where they live. However, the others contemplate that charity arrangements should solely focus on citizens in their country. From my point of view, prioritising people on a global level not only improves the quality of life of poor people but also drives our world towards a sustainable future, fostering collaboration and understanding among nations.
On one hand, one major reason why people in authority pay attention to their country is because the citizens pay tax every year; therefore, addressing local issues, such as poverty and homelessness, should take precedence. For instance, improving education and healthcare by using tax funds that citizens paid to bolster schools and ensure that the children have life and working skills benefits their nation. Moreover, boosting the education quality allows children to grow mindfully and implement their knowledge to help others and pass on. Additionally, developing healthcare and increasing the quality of medical care can prevent people in their country from illnesses that build fundamental health, which can later extend to other countries.
On the other hand, giving opportunities to out-of-country areas can lead a nation and transform our world into a place more livable. Similarly, the homeless, who were previously overlooked, can contribute significantly when provided with stable opportunities. Therefore, investing in these groups not only strengthens the world’s shared compassion but also creates a more vibrant society for everyone. For example, in Burundi, many people regarded the country as one of the poorest, needing resources and financial support to survive. Providing opportunities is crucial for helping them improve their living conditions and build a better future.
In conclusion, after considering both aspects, it personally believes that the organisation should be expanded to needed countries; it can prevent the people from starvation and poor conditions, which can otherwise shorten lives, and encourage our communities to work forward prosperous and happy future.
