Numerous charities around the globe assist individuals in need of care and supervision. In this regard, some people believe that this organization should prioritize helping people in their own country. While others argue that charities should assist all needy individuals around the world. This essay will discuss both viewpoints and give my own opinion.
There are multiple reasons why some believe that helping should be a universal practice, aiding individuals in need everywhere. The primary reason for this is that resources differ from country to country. As a result, many nations may lack the specific resources required to support their citizens in need. Charitable organizations from other countries can step in to assist and create suitable conditions for those in need within these nations. Another cogent reason is that world peace and mutual support among countries foster greater unity. When a country is affected by natural disasters, such as floods or hurricanes, many people become homeless. Charities from different nations can demonstrate their support and philanthropy by assisting those in need. Thus, charities can assist countries with unique needs and circumstances, and individuals in need everywhere have the right to support from these organizations.
However, Some believe that charities should only assist those in need within their own country. For one, charities typically consist of individuals from their nation and many people expect these organizations to focus primarily on assisting individuals within their people. For another, These organizations operate without government funding, and the government of each country is obligated to provide a great deal of support to its needy people. For instance, many countries have homeless individuals who need housing, food, and financial assistance. So, they want charity funds to be used for those in need within their countrymen. Therefore, charities depend on public support, so they must serve their communities.
In conclusion, I believe that although some people believe that charitable organizations should primarily assist their communities due to public financial support, many nationalities also require assistance from other countries, and such support fosters global peace. So, I completely agree with the second statement.
