In this day and age, help is always needed across the world. Therefore, some believe that various charity organizations need to be established everywhere in order to support those in need. However, some believe that these groups should only provide needs to locals. Although both views have reasonable grounds, the former is more convincing than the latter.
There are several reasons to buttress the view of supporting locals, the most compelling being how close they are compared to foreigners. It is thought that serving our country is top priority and helping outsiders is optional. In addition, some believe that by declining giving aid everywhere, donation costs would also decrease. Thus, money can be saved for other essential matters. For instance, the spare budget can be donated to the government for enhancing public facilities such as hospitals and schools.
Having said that, those who advocate for giving aid to people ubiquity have their own stances, the most striking being about morality. Supporters of this view believe that each individual has the responsibility to help the disadvantaged under any circumstances as this is the right thing to do. In addition, helping might strengthen relations from one country to another. Hence, creating a good image to the public for the supporting country in general and the charity organizations in particular. Plus, helping people around can give hope to each other, believing in darkness there is still light.
Both viewpoints have their own stances from a certain point of view. Nevertheless, organizations should donate to people no matter where they come from as it is the right thing to do.
