In my opinion, assisting the society where the institutions stand should become a priority before helping other people around the world. This essay will elaborate on both views.

However, helping local communities where the institutions stand must become a priority, as this approach can bring instant impact to both organizations and the world. In other words, when organizations assist people around them financially and socially, the citizens can hopefully support themselves and have a better welfare. As a result, they can contribute to the institutions by funding it or volunteering their aid physically. In addition, providing help to the local society requires less costs and time, which will bring more instant effects.
On the other hand, offering assistant to people worldwide also an important task, because many severe challenges come outside the regional area. The contribution from the unprofitable enterprises will reveal their presence to wealthy individuals, and eventually will open access to more funding. Therefore, the institutions will have more resources that can be employed to help the people worldwide. However, this approach come with enormous costs, such as transportation purchasing costs. This situation could become a big challenge for small or newly established organizations.
