The argument over whether children should be sent to daycare centers or be cared for by their grandparents has not been settled yet. While grandparents could provide detailed care for children at home, the advantages of sending children to daycare centers tend to be more appealing.
On one hand, those children who are cared for their grandparents tend to have a happier childhood and enjoy more comprehensive care. Because children feel relaxed when they are staying with their own grandparents at home, which means that they do not need to obey all the rules and follow the schedules as required by daycare centers. In addition, grandparents will serve them more delicious meals with enough nutrients and more attention compared with daycare centers.
On the other hand, there are some benefits to send children to daycare centers. Firstly, children become sociable in daycare centers because they need to learn how to make friends and handle relationships at an early age. Secondly, employees in daycare centers are qualified to guide children to learn and play, which means that children could develop skills like creativity and imagination with the help of those teaching staff.
Personally, I strongly believe that it is better to send children to a daycare center. Although children could gain good care from their grandparents, but with development of the teaching system and teaching facilities, daycare centers could also provide nutritious food and ensure safety of children with advanced technology and qualified teachers. In conclusion, children sent to daycare center could have a well-rounded development with the efforts of daycare centers.
