Band 6+: Some people think that children should learn how to compete, but others think that children should be taught on how to cooperate to become more useful adults. Express some reasons for both views and and give your opinion.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

There is dispute of whether youngsters should be trained to collaborate with others or compete with them to become more useful and contributors to society. Some assert that as competition draws attention to one’s shortcomings and inspires people to do better, it is pivotal for confidence-boosting and personal growthIn order to express my perspective, I will be attentively analyzing both points of view in this essay. On the one hand, others contend that rivalry is beneficial. They trust that it will be difficult to structure the environment under the guise of competition and that doing so will force people to put in more effort and strive for a certain objective. Competition therefore provides a sense of fulfillment and improves drive. To compete with other youngsters, for instance, schoolchildren participate in competitions. In order to maximize resources and win the competition, they make an effort to present their best selves. They feel satisfied in exchange for the prize they receive.

Conversely, other individuals think that the disadvantages of the rivalry outweigh the benefits and that it helps kids learn how to work together more effectively. People say that when kids work together, they have the chance to understand and adapt to the needs of other kids, which helps them become empathetic adults in the future. For example, my parents never supported sibling rivalry in our household. They constantly emphasized our individual abilities and talents and gave us the freedom to impart our knowledge to one another without feeling envious. As a result, we support one another rather than compete when we complete a task.

In conclusion, there are benefits to creating a competitive and cooperative atmosphere. Nonetheless, I believe that training kids to work together helps them grow into helpful, responsible adults.
