It is believed that starting school at a very early age is good for children, while others think that beginning later is more reasonable. Although both have their benefits and drawbacks, I contend that attending school earlier provides kids with more values.
On the one hand, it is undeniable that engaging in school later helps students have more time to prepare. Kids can learn essential skills such as critical thinking and problem-solving by participating in plays or interacting with more people before enrolling in academics. As a result, they will study more productively because of being both physically and mentally ready, which leads to better academic performances by them making more informed decisions. Additionally, there is a prevalent concern among parents that separation from their offspring when they are at a young age can disrupt their natural development. Thus, it can be seen that comprehensive growth is necessary for children prior to starting education.
On the other hand, early schooling can facilitate the development of independence and adaptability . Exposing children to education early significantly bolsters memory, fosters creativity, and enhances their cognitive skills. A recent study compared two groups of kids and found those who begin academics earlier performed better in areas like memory retention and learning speed. These findings suggest that early academic exposure plays an important role to the children’s future paths. Therefore, early education can be seen as an investment in a child’s long-term potential.
In conclusion, while acknowledge of a child’s natural development, I maintain that postponing their entry into formal education may not be advantageous in the long term. Overprotection can hinder a child’s growth and autonomy. Hence, i advocate for early schooling, encouraging parents to consider the myriad benefits that such a decision can yield, ultimately providing their children with a crucial head of life.
