In the contemporary world, the knowledge of people increased to an alarming degree. Therefore, some individuals consider that children should spend their free time in extracurricular activities while others believe that they should have true careless childhood. In this essay, I will explore both sides of public opinion to this theme before concluding with my opinion. Firstly, I will discuss why it is significant for pupils don’t waste their time after school, and secondly, I will explore other side of this opinion.
On one hand, the perspective on the modern model of education lets to notice a lack of information and experience that children receive at school to meet all job requirements in future. Consequently, learning additional subjects and taking courses affect to father achievement and competitiveness on the job market. Moreover, young age is a good time for learning foreign languages. However, many languages are beyond the scope of the education program although they are often necessary to claim the carrier ladder. Thus, attending the additional language lessons helps reach success in adult life.
On the other hand, the opponents of busy childhood argue that children must have carefree life with much free time for doing nothing. They should spend that time for exploring world around them, expressing themselves by different way (through the music, art, sport). It is unique period of people life, without any responsibilities, that is base of mental health of person.
In conclusion, despite the many arguments for additional training parents must rigorous plan the children free time to avoid potential problems in their development. In my opinion, there are a lot of methodologies that make educational process simple and funny for children. Attraction pupil to them is effective way to manage off-time.
