Some claim that residents and firms have to pay to eradicate the contamination, they have created, instead of authority. I partly agree with this idea and will discuss it by giving relevant examples.
On the one hand, it is obvious that people would try to pollute environment less in order to save more money, if they had to pay money, which is appropriate to the volume of pollution they produced. However, if governments allocate money to clean this mess, undoubtedly companies and individuals will not care about ecology and will generate too much remains. There are a lot of reasons for that as selfishness and the like. I assume one possible reason for that is unawareness of people about what unpleasant issues can emerge from eco-pollution. And it is laborious to make humanity know about it.
On the other hand, governments have far more opportunities to cope with problems as pollution and climate change by invoking professionals from all over the world. Get Altai Ainabek, proficient scientist of Kazakhstan regarding climate, as an example. According to my knowledge, he created his own apparatus to generate rain in dry areas. As a result, he was invoked by authority of Arab Emirates to assist with warming. And there are a plenty of scientists like him, which would help governments.
To conclude with, I agree that private individuals and businesses should pay to eliminate their own mess, however authorities should maintain them with their strength and opportunities. I think in this way country will successfully deal with environment issues.
