Band 7+: Some people think that cooking is an important skill for young people to learn. Others believe that it is better for people to learn how to cook after they become adults. There are many essential skills that are helpful latter in life. Hence, some individuals assert that culinary skill is crucial to obtain for youngsters; however, the opponents think that this skill can be learned after they grow up. Therefore, prior to my decision both views are reviewed in the following paragraphs.

Discussing the former view, the foremost argument put forward by the supporters is that cooking is a valuable life skill that promotes independence and self-sufficiency. By leaming to cook from an early age, individuals can develop a healthy relationship with food, make nutritious choices, and adopt sustamable eating habits. Moreover, cooking encourages creativity, fosters problem-solving skills, and enhances cultural awareness by exposing youngsters to diverse culinary traditions By instilting these abilities early on, young people can establish a solid foundation for a lifetime of healthy eating and well-being.

On the contrary, the proponents of the latter opinion advocate that delaying culinary education allows individuals to focus on other essential skills during their formative years. Childhood and adolescence are crucial stages for intellectual and emotional development and dedicating time to subjects such a science, mathematicsand literature may be more beneficial in terms of overall educational growth. Moreoveras young adults enter the workforce, they may have more resources and opportunities to attend cooking classes or explore culinary interests, thus enabling them to learn cooling in a more focused and dedicated manner.

In my opinion, while it is advantageous for young people to develop basic cooking skills the timing and approach should be flexible Introducing cooking as a part of earty education can create a solid foundation, instill healthy habits, and foster creativity. However, it is equally important to recognize that individuals may have different interests, and priorities during their younger years. Therefore, providing opportunities for human beings to learn cooking in adulthood ensures that they can acquire culinary skills at a time that aligns with their personal circumstances and aspirations.

In conclusion, the question of when to teach cooking is a matter of personal preference and orcumstances. Both arguments have their merits, with proponents emphasizing the benefits of early culinary education and others highlighting the advantages of learning cooking in adulthood. Ultimately, a flexible and adaptable approach that caters to the needs and aspirations of individuals at different stages of life is crucial in fostering a society where cooking skills are valued and appreciated.
