Some individuals want to ban extreme sports which lead to their health , while others think people should have freedom to choose what they want to do. This essay will discuss both sides of dangerous sport activities and providing my personal opinion.
Firstly, nowadays types of sports and demand for this slightly increased. Those who advocate for the banning of dangerous sports often argue that these activities pose significant risks to participants’ health and safety. They contend that allowing such sports to continue may lead to increased medical costs, strain on emergency services, and potential long-term consequences for individuals involved. Additionally, they argue that society has a responsibility to protect individuals from unnecessary harm, particularly when engaging in activities that have a high likelihood of injury or even death.
On the other hand, proponents of freedom of choice in activities argue that individuals should have the autonomy to decide what risks they are willing to take. They emphasize that participating in dangerous sports is a personal decision and that individuals are aware of the potential dangers involved. Furthermore, they argue that banning such activities would infringe upon personal freedoms and limit opportunities for individuals to pursue activities they are passionate about.
In my opinion, while it is important to prioritize safety and minimize unnecessary risks, individuals should have the freedom to choose their activities, including participating in dangerous sports. However, this freedom should be accompanied by regulations and safety measures to mitigate potential harm. Government agencies and sports organizations should work together to establish guidelines and safety standards to ensure that participants are well-informed and adequately protected.
In conclusion, I believe that government should protect people life and should increase safety standards.
