A growing number of individuals today express concern over the issue of employers should not pay attention to the costume of workers and focus on the efficiency of their work. I strongly disagree with this statement and believe that the appearance as important as the quality of the job.
One of the main reasons why I disagree is the fashion costume demonstrate the wearer’s ability to keep up with trends. This can be explained by the fact that fashionable appearance would pay attention to the consumers or the partners. For instance, special outfits of workers can gain clients’ attraction, so they will attract more customers and earn higher profits. As a result, beautiful clothes play a crucial role in the efficiency of work.
Secondly, it should be noted that a comfortable and suitable clothing is the motivation of personels to work effectively. This can be attributed to Gen Z employees alway want to dress an good-looking costume to go to work instead of the uniform of the company. For example, nowadays, young workers choose a company that allow their employees to wear themself that can make them feel confident and enhance the quality of work. Therefore, suitable outfits can be powerful motivations for staffs to work efficient.
However, some people argue that the freedom of dress shows the unprofessionalism of the workplace. However, I would argue that this way of dressing shows the creativity of work. To give an example, the world’ development leads to differences in clothing styles, so there is no longer need to force to wear uniform to go to work. As a result, the benefits of wearing a good-looking costume outweigh the potential negative impacts.
