Some people consider that parental guidance has the strongest influence on a child’s development while others think that outer indicators such as pals, TV and music can have a more significant effect. I agree with the latter view.
Family upbringing plays a crucial role in taking care of children at first years of their lives. When parents provide kids with a sufficient amount of time, they influence on their sences of love, as it known to be the strongest feeling of all, because love has a long-lasting effect. Another argument is that only parental guidance can teach kids about basic rules of good and bad, resulting in appropriate behaviors in the future.
These arguments notwithstanding, outer factors like friends, television exposion and music can have more powerful effect. First and foremost, although parents give sufficient upbringing, further peer exposure might affect more on children’s development, since when kids have grown up, they usually try to replicate their friends attitudes. As a result, buddies might influence more on their development, by showing different behaviors. In addition to this, television with music are intertwined with kid’s rearing too, as their algorithms are targeted on changing children’s brains and manners. Kids in the US are pertinent cases in point; being surrounded by wrong friends and constant technological exposure, their behaviors might have been changed from what they used to be.
In conclusion, although parental guidance might have extremely powerful effect on children’s development, as they play a significant role in their upbringing in the first years of their lives. However, I still consider that friends, television and music have a stronger influence because they can change kids’ initial manners completely.
