In modern world, the increasing crime rate can be reduced with the aid of cutting-edge technology. As far as I am concerned, I agree with this notion because of several reasons which will be explained in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, there are some people who are scaptical about using modern technology to combat crimes. Firstly, most security devices work with electricity. So, buttress, CCTV cameras or burglar alarms can cut off the power circuit by thieves without any difficulties. As a result, those devices are not able to put a halt to wrong doings. Secondly, citizens do corruption as they have an opinion that they cannot be caught. As an example in companies, people often come late and mark their regular attendence. However, if companies replaced regular attendence register to biometric system, no one would be able to deceit these entries and corruption could be reduced.
On the other hand, I still consider that high-end technological devices as effective way in fighting against crimes. Furthermore, police forces can benefit from using modern technology devices to arrest criminals. To put it simply, GPS tracuring systems and Face ID cameras are already providing to be efficient in a matter of a few minutes.
In conclusion, although some people are doubtful about the effectiveness of modern technologies against wrongdoings, I still believe that it is an effective method. If people do not use technology against criminals, the society will face unprecedented serious issues.
