Some people believe that individuals should keep all their income and avoid paying taxes. However, I strongly agree that people should pay taxes, as they are essential for the functioning of society.
It is claimed that there are too many options. Some individuals say we don’t pay taxes. It’s also a big issue for governments, because if we don’t pay taxes, it would create serious problems for governments, as their revenue would decrease significantly. However, we have exceptions for oter countries in the Middle East: UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, where governments rely heavily on natural resources. Most countries depend on taxation to support their economies and maintain public services.
On the other hand, paying taxes is fundamental to maintaining public services and national infrastructure. Governments rely heavily on tax revenue to fund essential sectors such as healthcare, education, and transportation. Without sufficient taxation, it would be impossible to ensure equal access to these services for all citizens. Furthermore, taxes enable governments to invest in long-term development projects, such as building roads or supporting economic growth, which individuals alone cannot achieve.
In conclusion, while alternative forms of contribution can play a valuable role in supporting communities, they cannot replace the critical function of taxation. Therefore, I firmly believe that paying taxes is not only a responsibility but also a necessity for the stability and progress of society.
