Nowadays, some people support the view that in the sophisticated world, individuals are more dependent on each other, while others believe that independent people are tend to increase in the life. In this essay, I will discuss both perspectives and give my own opinion.
Admittedly, advanced world create really good conditions such as internet, AI, guidances for people to become more independent than the past. In studying and working, there are more and more free documents and exercises pubished on many online platforms such as Google, Youtube, Facebook as well as the effective support from AI platforms including ChatGPT, Gemini. Therefore, the learners who are self-discipline as well as good at learning by themselves can apparently acquire knowledge and broaden their understanding without the complete dependence on instructors and teachers at schools compared to the past. In addition, in modern society, the competitiveness is very huge so individuals are separated by goals which people are expected to achieve. This leads to the world where people are more isolated from each other so living indepedently become the main skills for person who want to success. Otherwise, the life is tend to be busier, everyone has their own schedule so the dependence on each other is hardly any helpful and instead of that, learning to be indepedent is so much better.
On the other hand, developing world provokes people into being dependent on each other. Some people need the supportation from others to develop themselves and they can overcome the scare of being left. For example, in working and studying, people who are worse in abilities and skills have to be dependent on better individuals, thus they can catch the trends of the environment workplace and become more self-confident. Therefore, the groups become more balanced and everyone can work more indepently. In addition, extending to the bigger area, the cooperation between developing and developed countries are more important. In this situation of the world, the unity of groups is more essential due to the strong influences from the outside. This requires the dependence and support on each other, which widen the road of development and sustainability. From my perspectives, I believe that people have to combine flexible the independence and dependence on each other because it brings about the benefits for both individuals and groups.
In short, although both views have their own merits, I support the view that people in modern and busy society have to learn the way of balancing between independance and dependance. This approach is more beneficial in the long term.
