Misbehaviour of athletes is deemed acceptable by some people if players are good. Although some can justify inappropriate conduct as a natural as a natural release of emotions, I contend that such behaviour should be neglected due to the serious consequences it can entail.
Some people consider that inappropriate behaviour is natural in sports. Sport competitions and matches can be intense, so it may be challenging for athletes to keep their emotions behind the bars. In football, for instance, it is against the rules to take the shirt off. However, if it is connected with the excitement and happiness, then it is not worth rebuking. Furthermore, some athletes show aggressions and verbal abuse to attract people. For example, in UFC, fighters have heated exchanges or even physical altercations taboos view count and engagement.
However justifiable it may seem, in no way athletes’ misbehaviour be tolerated. This is because their behaviour such as rage or disrespect can be imitated by children, which can foster negative behavioral patterns. For example, watching fighters like Connor McGregor mistreatment of other fighters, his children fans can develop bully-like demeanor. Moreover, misbehaviour of athletes can trigger cultural disputes. When athletes are mocking other Muslim fighters and their religion. Therefore, this can not only spark a debate among cultures, but also create animosity between Muslim and non-Muslim individuals.
In conclusion, while some believe that misbehaviour in sports is natural and engaging, I argue that such behaviour can change young people’s behaviour negatively and pit cultures against each other.
