In the contemporary discourse surrounding the type of the locations for large companies and industry, a prevailing consensus posits that, selection of regional area rather than urban centers for bigger companies and industry is the prudent way in all means. In my opinion, choosing rural areas in lieu of cities have more advantages which prevail over the disadvantages.
To begin with, in rural location, the outlay of developing and maintaining a industry or large companies are inifinitesimal as compared to the urban area. However, regional areas lack the facilities which cities can provide, the ecoonmical benefits such as low running cost for these ventures will outweigh that disadvantage. We can take land price for instance, with the same price of small land in urban area we can purchase a large amount of space in regional areas which satifies the requirements of our plan. Thus, as compared to city centers, rural areas are more economical which is a imperative factor while considering a place for large companies and industry.
In addition, the availability of resources in regional areas are conducive for the growth these institutions. Although rural areas are not developed, the resources in these environment are also not been used, which is an another rationale for considering regional areas over large urban centers. Hence, selecting rural areas will provide the availability of resource which are imperative while running huge ventures, especially industrial sites.
In conclusion, due to the factors like economical advantage, abundant availability of resources, the advantages of choosing regional areas outside large urban centers prevail over its disadvantages. Hence rural areas are the optimum place for running large companies and industry.
