It is often said that many people are drawing attention to job problems. In fact, there are some who hold firmly to their belief that some specific jobs are suitable for different individuals, regarding gender. From my perspective, I completely disagree with this view, and some major points will be addressed in the following paragraphs.
On the one hand, there are two main reasons why some people argue that several certain jobs require gender suitability . Primarily, it is a well-documented fact that some certain physically demaning jobs, such as construction, firefighting, and military combat, may be better suited for men due to their greater muscle mass and endurance. For instance, firefighting requires lifting heavy equipment and rescuing, which can be physically challenging. By contrast, some believe that woman are naturally more nurturing, making them well-suited for jobs like nursing, teaching, and caregiving. As an example, studies show that female teachers dominate early childhood education due to their patience and communication skills.
On the other hand, there are a number of points for people to support view that gender should not determine job suitability. First and foremost, it is commonly accepted that jobs today rely more on intelligence, education, and experiences rather than physical ability. The most obvious example is that a female doctor, software engineer, or police officer can perform just as well as a male counterpart with the right qualifications. Furthermore, encouraging both men and women in all jobs leads to a more diverse innovative, and fair workforce, which can contribute to a comprehensive development of modern society. This is supported by the fact that men working in nursing or teaching bring different perspectives that benefit patients and students.
To conclude, it is my strong belief that it is unnecessary having job boudaries between women and men due to diverity and skill & education requirements at job. I highly recommend that each individuals should acquire more knowledges as well as gain more experiences that enables them to pursue any jobs they want in the future.
