In the modern world, some people argue that money is a precious present for surprising the youth, while many people contend that other categories of gifts are suitable for them. This essay will elaborate both sides and suggest that money is the well-selected gift.
On the one hand, those who argue that cash is not an appropriate asset to give to children believe that they have an opportunity to carefully select the present for their young beloved. As kids are still young and not mature, it can be risky to give them a freedom to buy their own desired gift. For example, children who are playing game using violent items such as knife or gun for the battle tend to purchase and try those items in their real life, leading to serious crimes.
On the other hand, I agree that money is a favourite present for young people because of two main reasons. First of all, it is a ready-to-give present, which requires no time consumption on the gift selection. Secondly, it allows children to learn and manage their financial account. They have various options to effectively manage their money, such as investing in stocks or cryptocurrencies, depositing as emergency cash, or even buying whatever they want. For instance, one of my friends in the university who has doubled his asset by investing in the Nvidia stock using his funding provided by his parents is becoming a specialist in the financial field.
In conclusion, although many believe that children should not receive money as a gift, I strongly support the idea of giving money to children as a remarkable present. This gift will definitely enhance their financial strategies and prepare them to be a strong adult who know how to effectively manage financial plans and risks.
