Many people believe that brand-new houses in rural areas should be built the same as traditional houses while others argue that residents should be given permission to build their houses like what they desire. Personally, I am of the opinion that building houses should not be limited to styles.
There are some reasons why houses should be built the same. Firstly, if houses are similar, it will enhance a sense of equality in society as there are many people with various backgrounds, with some people who are rich and some are not. As houses may reflect its owner’s wealth, some normal people may feel unconfident when it comes to conversations about their financial states. Secondly, when accommodations have the same styles, it can result in affordable prices for people who want to buy ready-built houses. In this case, financial burden can be greatly reduced for those who do not have high salaries.
Despite these benefits mentioned above, I believe that people should be free to decide what their houses will look like. Firstly, a house should be a place where people can be themselves and take a rest after a long day of working. By means of this, houses should be designed as they want, and this can also be a method for people to release stress because they are able to express their creativity. Secondly, the freedom to build a house means owners can show off their inner spirits, which can improve their confidence and therefore results in mental health balance, which can effectively impact people’s motivation and productivity in working.
In conclusion, it is true that the benefits of building similar houses are undeniable, I hold the belief that people should be permitted to design their accommodations as they wish.
