Pollution of land and sea represents an idea that plastic things like shopping bags have to be cancelled fully. I completely agree with this opinion because I believe it is a good way to protect our environment.
There are many reasons why plastic harms our environment. The main reason that it is not biodegradable. This means that plastic would end up in soil or in water for hundreds of years. Nowadays it became one of the biggest pollutions in the world. Plastic in soil is toxic waste which damages natural balance. For example people discharge plastic bags or bottles to the water or they can end up in the sea. Furthermore marine animals mistake plastic bags for jellyfish and eat them. Sea turtles are on the brink of extinction due to plastic pollution. They eat plastic and haven’t any place for natural food and after are starving. Other animals like dolphins, sharks, pelicans and other birds are caught in plastic bags and can’t emerge. However most of plastic waste ending up in oceans and other water bodies give off toxic chemicals there toxins end up in our drinking water or it is damage fish ecosystem.
Furthermore on the land space plastic gets into landfill sites where isn’t decomposed. At this point plastic is burned in factories and Its smoke pollutes air atmosphere. That’s why we should think about pollution of plastic bags and try to reduce using plastic by other materials which are not so terrible for our environment.
In conclusion it is clear that plastic bags haven’t any positive reasons don’t be blocked. However they make so many issues in the world from killing animals to polluting the environment. So that we should use environmentally friendly products in order to protect natural resources.
