A group of people believes that students ought to be divided into science and arts focused classes at secondary school, however, another group argues that mixed ability classes are better for pupils. Personally, I am of the opinion that the former classes are more effective for students in comparison to the latter ones.
It is obvious that enrolling students in mixed curriculum classes could show broaden perspectives and new ideas to students. In other words, these kinds of classes can improve their intellectual capacity and enhance their innovation in different categories such as science, mathematics, art, technology and etc. For example, when huge abilities and careers are taught to pupils, they could take up their knowledge and it could increase their self-steam.
It is clear that each individual has specific talent in various categories. In other words, students should be separated into different classes, e. g. science-focused and arts-focused one, for expertizing each one in their specialized talent. As a result, students can focus only on their own tasks, they don’t have multiple tasks and they can train their minds for a united goal.
Furthermore, focusing on a unique and specific objective is more convenient than completing several tasks. This means, each student should be trained for a specific topic and well-prepared for a special job. As a result, their mindset can be prepared for a normal and personalized pattern.
It can be concluded that separating pupils into different classes at secondary schools, like science-focused and arts-focused ones, is better than a mixed curriculum.
