Indubitably, the ancient period is an integral part of the world. It is observed that few people say that learning history is a waste of time in this modern epoch, while others claim that people can gain historical knowledge from the past. I will eunuciate both views along with my perspective in the upcoming fragments.
Ostensibly, there are various reasons why people think history has no value. The predominant one is that this subject is not helpful for finding jobs. Furthermore, learning these different lessons requires a lot of time to study long subjects related to the ancient period, and as a result, people face some health and physical problems, such as stress, depression, and time consumption. To vindicate, as per BBC News, in the past year many students have faced issues related to their bodies and spent most of the time learning the longest history for their exams. Another noteworthy aspect is that many people make notes to write and remember their past, so they use a number of copies after studying; these copies are useless. Hence, history does not help us in the future.
Nevertheless, people can reap the benefits from learning history. Primarily, they can gain knowledge about their old traditions, ancestors, and cultural values, as well as past history, which helps them to learn various things from their forefathers. Last but not least, is it possible that people learn about civilization and how people lived in the past? To corroborate, it is revealed by the Indian government that nowadays youngsters show their interest in finding their ancestors’ living life. Therefore, in many ways, history renders us valuable information. To recapitulate, although in this digital world, due to some reasons people deem history is wasteful, yet providing ancestors’ lifestyles and cultural values, it is an important subject in this world where learners can gain different country history periods.
