There is no denying the fact that intelligence is complex concept. while it is a commonly held belief that the best way that intelligence can be measured is the success, there is also an argument opposes it. In my opinion, I consider that success is not the appropriate method to measure the intelligence.
To begin with, the success not always should be a prove for intelligence because they are not equal. In other words, intelligence can be a result of various factors such as skills, opportunities and resources. In addition, intelligence is a complement concept which requires many other factors Can be used to be mesurement. For example, IQ tests is the most common factor which used around the world to determine the level of smart and discover talents.
Another point to consider is that intelligence does not mean achievement in many Situations in this life. It is also possible to say that achievement usually depends on the circumstances and opportunities , and sometimes they are limited or not available, which stop intelligent people continue progressing. Moreover, Success can be influnced by luck which is not necessarily an indication of a person’s intelligence, For instance, the successful chance for winning a prize does not rely on the intelligence and therfore limited intelligence persons have an opportunity to achieve success through luck.
In conclusion, despite people having different views, I believe that sometimes, success is not meant that person is intelligente, since that many individuals do not have the perfect circumstances to develop and achieve accomplishment. we should recognise and value different kinds of intelligence and help people grow in various ways.
