In today’s moving at a very fast pace world.
In this technological and fast-paced world where we can learn about anything from anywhere, there is an argument going around whether teaching children at home is more beneficial for child’s development or is it important for children to go to school. We will have both the methods of teaching children their own advantage but I believe that sending children to school is more important for their development.
The most important thing skill a child should inculcate is social skills. Attending schools and meeting with engaging with many different students helps a child to develop social skills. In addition to this, schools have a particular curriculum and teaches children about relevant topics. This helps the child open his mind to different perspectives of the world. And lastly schools test the knowledge of students by conducting examinations which helps the children develop mental capacity to handle pressure situations. These are the reasons which make me believe in sending children to school for education. However, teaching children at home is also beneficial. Teaching a child at home can help them learn at their own pace because each and everyone is different and has their own pace to grasp new things. Moreover, teaching learning at home helps them excel in a field of their like and explore more in their areas of interest. Despite all these advantages, I don’t focus on teaching a child at home.
In my opinion, in my tenure of education, I had the opportunity to learn at school and at home during the revised times. Based on my experience, I feel that learning at school had helped me grow more than learning at home, predominantly in the social skills.
In conclusion, both the methods have their advantages, but I feel learning at school is more important for the overall development of a child.
