Several individuals think that technology tends to make people’s lives more convenient, whereas others argue that it makes individuals’ lives more complicated. I totally agree with the statement that technology makes individuals’ lives easier.
On the one hand, it is frequently claimed that technology is more likely to make people’s lives easier. From a broader perspective, using technology is convenient, as people save time by using it to deal with daily challenges. For example, technology can significantly assist with household chores, such as robotic vacuum cleaners, which are able to clean floors automatically with minimal human involvement. Moreover, such devices reduce the physical effort required for daily tasks, which is especially beneficial for people with a tight schedule. As a result, this saved time can be spent on completing work duties or spending time with family.
On the other hand, many individuals believe that rapid technological development could contribute to unemployment. This is due to the fact that robots are able to replace human labor. For instance, they can perform many tasks related to computers, which are usually done by professionals such as IT specialists, accountants, among others. Consequently, the increasing reliance on technology may reduce the demand for human workers in the near future. This can lead to serious social issues, as people who have lost their jobs may struggle to find new employment.
In conclusion, even though some people think that technology has a positive impact on individuals’ lives, others argue that it could create problems. I believe that technology will make individuals’ lives more efficient.
