Nowadays, extreme global climate change has become an existential issue for the entire human and animal lives depend on it. A number of crowds argue that it can be solved and reduced by individuals’ behavior. Whereas, other people assume that the role of government and large businesses are going to be the vital part for the changes that the individual cannot function it. In my point of view, I strongly believe that if the global climate change is concerned with the whole universal, it cannot be denied that this factor will be more handled by the governments and communities than the per-capita action.
First of all, global climate changes are mostly related to every human being who living on earth. Some people, therefore, believe that the most important fact for us is to take individual action by reducing the carbon emissions and reducing the use of disposal plastic things. We can take bus or bicycle instead of using the car for a short distance. From that, there can be hoped in everywhere with the practical actions and built the pleasant place for us and our future generations. In contrast, we have to accept that these individual actions have limitations.
Secondly, the others suppose that Climate change won’t be solved by a person alone, whereas it will require public policy solutions from governments and large communications around the world. It is because they have enough power to lay down policies such as raising taxes on carbon consumption and supporting in renewable sources namely solar and wind energy. Additionally, large organizations can also carry out by encouraging people to actively participate in green initiatives. But, although the government has enacted the laws and regulations to solve the global climate changes, it is sure that if citizens don’t take part, there won’t be no significant changes in the matters.
In conclusion, even though the per-capita movement will be needed to reduce the global climate changes, I am convinced that governments and large business groups play the crucial role to implement for the climate solutions.
