In the modern world, tourism helps to promote cultural exchange as well as maintain economic growth. From the past years, It becomes easier for the people to travel in different countries. There are more demerits rather than merits which I will explain in the upcoming paragraphs.
There are some of the benefits which highlight the point why travelling is the most important in these days. First of all, the main reason is to know about the culture. There is no doubt that when people go to another nation then they explore a lot of things such as clothing style, food and language while communicating with them. In this way, after spending time in new country, they adopt new tradition by gaining knowledge and experience about them.
However, there are some drawbacks which might not be give bad results to both local people and nature. Firstly, it is harmful for the environment. If a lot of tourist come to the country then they can damage property of tourist destination. There are a number of things which is mainly available for the people to use it. But after using it, they put into garbage bins which facilities already given by authority of this nation. So, in this way, it creates a dangerous gases which directly put bad impact on the atmosphere . Secondly, this is negative point for small business . As the most of people start the own local business in their area. Unfortunately, they lose their jobs because of developed the historical places around the local shops for the tourist attraction. Therefore, they do not have a chance to reopen their work due to tourist industry.
In conclusion, there are many disadvantages as compared to advantages of this topic. In my point of view, local people can face a lot of problems while serving in own nation with the development of tourist industry.
