Nowadays, there is a rising number of homeless people in many major nations. As per the group of people, they believe that shelters should be established by the government for homeless or people who require the most. In contrast, others opine that free housing facility did not come under the government responsibility. This essay will discuss both perspectives and give a personal statement in the following paragraphs.
Certainly, the government should have the responsibility to establish free housing because The immigrants from other countries cannot purchase highly expensive rent of house or apartment accommodation due to increasing inflation in the household sector. As a result, people are forced to live on street or small tent near the buildings or road and also can take concerning step in future such as robbery and crime. Moreover, the land prices instead of falling due to establishment of more and more buildings, it exceeding the overall budget of people. To exemplify, the research conducted by the US-based company known as ROC on land value during the time period of 15 years, the outcome was surprising. It depicts overall 60% of rise in a land price from 2006 to 2021.
Another information worth noting, as per opposing group, government should not take a responsibility to develop housing. Firstly, in present time, a big company or businesses are establishing free sustainable housing facility for homeless or citizens who are below poverty line. Secondly, government can help the homeless people through some financial incentive but it should provide more importance to rising concern such as pollution, terrorism .So, From tackling the main serious problems as a result there will be overall development of people. To conclude with in my personal viewpoint, both the arguments have equal importance mainly because establishing housing will restrict people to perform illegal activities. On the other hand, some other organizations are helping people in the area of housing so government can give more focus on other upcoming problems.
