It is thought that the government is bound to back up the people who work in the cultural sphere while others think it is only the way of wasting money. In my view the government has to encourage artists as much as possible.
It is evidence that painters, music performances and poets spread our country’s culture, art and history. So, they need support from the ascendancy and their access. If people have not had information about culture and art, they would not be well-behaved people. Artists with their appearance, music and poems can touch people’s hearts. It means, with this way they can bring up the young generation. In our days, more people are becoming more and more unkind to each other by not listening to music, not reading poems of our predecessors. It is undeniable, that in the past for treating the population some kings even had used the help of music players. However, nowadays this method of treating has disappeared and people only rely on technology.
Discussing one hand of this theme, there exists another view of people. Unfortunately, there are lots of poor families and people who work for cheap salary. Nevertheless, artists have their own career and of course they can supply themselves. Their concert tickets are not cheap and only wealthy people or families can buy it and enter their concert. As for poets and painters, they can sell their product. As well, it is not as affordable as people think. Especially paints, which are painted by professional painters, are attractive and pricey. Thus, the government has to take care of other people than artists.
In conclusion, although some people think supporting artists by the government is wasting money, I believe the instead of leaving artists without support, the government should pay more attention to them.
