Health care is getting more complicated every year, although it is one of the basic needs in Maslu pyramid of Human’s needs. Some people argue that it must be available for all human kind, with no consideration to their age, race, or financial statuses. While others disagree, considering it a privilege for only productive people or at least insured by some insurance company. In other words, they believe that health care field is similar to other business fields and it has to be successfully managed.
In the past, it was not a significant concern while most medical procedures were based on doctors’ skills using simple tools and manual instruments, unlike present, with all medications that have been discovered and high-tech equipment that has been invented. Additionally, the whole diagnosis procedures are getting precise and complicated leading to higher costs.
On the other hand, others argue that doctors are under-oath skilled humans, hence, it is not acceptable to cure patients selectively based on unrelated factors, regardless of their race, religion, and financial status; they deserve to be treated. From their perspective, health care is a public service and we all have the right to be have it.
In conclusion, it is hard to judge with such a critical issue where each perspective is worth to be considered. When some people want to impose restrictions on health care depriving some people from being served, it is recommended for opponents to establish charities to fund all people in need, and support them to live healthy and prosper.
