Band 7+: Some people think using mobile phones in public places should be banned.

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

Nowadays, many individuals consider that mobile phones should be prohibited in public places such as libraries, shops and public transport. While this viewpoint can be valid at some point, I neither agree nor disagree with this view since the utilization of mobile phones depends on the specific environment and the way these devices are used.

On the one hand, there are certain places where the usage of mobile phones can be disturbing. For instance, libraries are constructed for studying and concentration, which is why many people choose them over staying at home. However, there might be some people who can use their technological device for entertainment and phone calls that could impede students’ ability to concentrate and find calmness for a specific purpose. Similarly, the excessive usage of mobile phones in public transport may cause discomfort to passengers, especially when people speak loudly and don’t use headphones. Therefore, some level of restriction is necessary in order to keep a high level of comfort in public places.

On the other hand, frequently, using mobile phones can be beneficial and demanding. In a modern world, many young individuals and adolescents rely on their phones for significant purposes, such as online payments, online tickets and so on. Sometimes, it can be unattainable for some people to find specific places in enormous mall centers. For this reason, people use some ai-apps that can assist them to find those desired places, which proves that people still need an online navigation in order to be aware of their next routes. As a result, total ban could create more issues for people than a boon.

In conclusion, I neither agree nor disagree that mobile phones should be completely erased from public places. Instead of completely banning phones from public places, the government could enforce policies that could regulate inappropriate phone use that could lead to success.

There are several reasons why many companies prioritize formal academic qualifications over personal qualities or practical experience, and I believe this is a largely negative trend. Although handwriting used to be the norm in previous centuries, more and more people are abandoning the practice in the modern world.
