Some psychologists consider that doing absolutely nothing some part of the day is the most effective method to overcome the stress of routine life. From my perspective, in current times with everyday activities, such as studying, working, career, family, friends and other, each person has some stress in different portions which can be solved by this method and other existed ways. This essay will discuss benefits of not doing anything in some part of the day and what to do for those who are not suited to this method, based on my partial agreement with provided statement.
It is clear that everyone faces stress in their lives that presses more and more as time goes on. Some psychologists recommend method of spending a portion of the day doing absolutely nothing as a best practice for treating stress. Currently, taking time to rest is the most crucial part of day among young adults and teenagers who busy with studying careers and self-development. However, vacation with family or friends, taking up a hobby and other activities no longer seem as major as they used to be and all thoughts are on business. In this case not doing anything is one of the best ways to stress management. Doing absolutely nothing can help calm the mind and body, allowing to focus on breathing and reset mental state. Moreover, it can be a powerful way to recharge mental batteries and restore sense of balance.
On the other hand, this scheme can not work for everyone. For instance, some will be tormented by various thoughts about their laziness and will never be able to relax and rest. From where I stand, one of the best solutions is writing a diary. The annoying circumstances that happen every day give valuable experiences, as putting them into words, the color of life grows. It is major to share negative emotions with others, as their accumulation within oneself is what forms all stress.
In conclusion, spending a portion of the day doing nothing is advantageous way to stress management in everyday life; however, it is not appropriate to everyone. From my perspective, the best scheme for everyone to overcome stress routines does not exist, since all methods are effective for everyone individually.
