Band 5+: Some say that todays life is better than it will be in the future; others disagree and say that in the future life will be better than now. Discuss, and include your own opinion

Undoubtedly, life is a complex thing. During centuries, humanity wanted to enhance the way of living, relying on many aspects, as leaders and politicians, religion, either dieties or just something that stays behind our universe. Just to trust in something. This essay will discuss both views of better living ‘now or in the future’ and provide with my own opinion.

So as more than 7 billion people are living on Earth, the same amount of beliefs and attitudes exist here. Some individuals say that life nowadays is better than it will in the future. On the one hand, this may be claimed due to the feeling and the mindset these people share. They don’t know what is coming with the start of the next day. For instance, as a Ukrainian living in the country with a not really triving future and non-accessible situation, which may seem really pessimistic, I believe only in ‘now and here’. If I want to achieve something, I should start now. Anyway, I would say I have always had such an inclination.

On the other hand, some claim that in future life will be better than now. Needless to say, that there are lot of conditions and no opinion could be faux. However, for these individuals opportunities, that we face today, can be seen as something secondary. By focusing only on the future and looking on the world with clouded judgment, they underestimate their today and may lose everything in the future, which could give them the best.

From my point of view, the best approach is to capture each moment that we have now. I wish I had more time to realise that earlier. Previously, I was the same estimation: to work towards my future, forgeting about appreciate the present and precise it. Because without our today, there is no tomorrow. We live our lives and only we can deside what to do.

To sum up, both attitudes are valid, but the better option is to combine them.
