Advantage And Disadvantage

Band 5+: Some school leavers travel or work for a period of time instead of going directly to university. What are the advantages or disadvantages for their study?

Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

In reccent years, it is true that many students choice going on vacation or working whithin a creatain period of time rather than going to university immediately. In my estimation, the advantages outweigh the disadvantages due to bring about many benefits for personal development.

On the one hand, going on vaction or working within a creatain period of time rather than going to university immediately is disadvantageous in a few ways to a certain extent. One manjor disadvantage of this trend is that many students can delay academic progress. Because they begin an undergraduate program later than their peers . For example, students who take off a year may gradute one year later than their peers who enter university immediately. Consequently, they will face difficulties to university life.

On the other hand, going on vaction or working within a creatain period of time rather than going to university immediately is associated with a few advantages. One manjor advantage of this trend is that you can gain practical experience from the journeys . Since they can gain practical knowledge rather than just learning from books or university. For instance, students who work in a restaurant, store, ect.. can improve their communication skill and teamwork skills before entering university. So that they can improve their practcal skills and easier to integrate into than an office environment. Another advantage is students become financially independent. As this allows them to cover some of their educational expenses and reduce the financial burden on their families.

In conclusion, due to the above reasons, I strongly belive that this phenomenon is a positive development.
