While some individuals consider this as a positive phenomenon, others believe that it would cause negative impacts. Although both of these perspectives hold merits, which will be explained in this essay, I am convinced that this will show more positive effects, compared to their negative ones.
On the one hand, there are many factors contributing to why it is considered the situation that computers are more intelligent than individuals as a negative development. Since the speed of computers’ developments has been faster and faster, the day that they become smarter than humans is unavoidable. Consequently, there would be one day that human cannot control them anymore. If it happens, people will be under their control and do whatever they ask, resulting in dangerous cases for people as computers cannot distinguish whether people have abillities to do those tasks or it will have any possibilities that people can survive after those things. As a result, the survival of people and the world may face difficulties.
On the other hand, I still believe that when computers become more intelligent than people, there will be more positive results from it. As computers can be used for risky work, when they become smarter, it can help to decrease the number of situations that individuals can face danger. Additionally, because computers are definitely useful tools to solve problems requiring logic and mathematics, if it become more intelligent in the future, they can even solve those issues faster compared to their current speed. As a result, people can save much time, which can be spent on other crucial tasks or jobs. Moreover, if computers become smarter than human beings, when people meet challenges, they can ask these machines and receive the answers within a short time. This may lead to that a plenty of problems will be solved easier.
To conclude, there are many reasons why computers become more intelligent compared to human may cause some negative impacts, such as people and the world may face difficulties to continue develop, I still think that it will become a positive phenomenon. This is because computers can help people save more time and reduce the rate that people will involve in risky jobs.
