As many any things in life,taking gap year after leaving school before going to university has both positive and negative sides. The disadvantage is that schoolers find hard to comeback into academic life . I believe that gap year provides more positive sides than negative as students have opportunities to get work experience
The main disadvantage is that students find hard to comeback into academic life,as a result of taking one year off after school.This happens because they are do not practice studying at all due to travelling or working, so students lose their habits of studying. Furthermore,they might comeback to the initial habits feel devastated and uncomfortable during studies
However,I believe that not engaging in any educational activity isn’t that deep rather than getting work experience.Students during their work experience gained such beneficial skills as job hunting and personal development.This gives students possibility to develop practical skills that may not be taught in a class room and possibility to went through research on potential career path and field of Studying.
In conclusion,even though founding out hard to comeback into academic life after time off their own drawbacks,I believe that gap year provides more advantages compared to disadvantages as students have opportunities to get work experience
