It is widely acknowledged that transportation has become one of the mainly sources of pollution worldwide. Some people believe that government should take the main responsibility for solving this problem, while other think that individuals must act too. This essay will discuss the both sides of view and give my own opinion.
On the one hand, some people believe that government have the huge power to make the real changes. They can create a strict law for reducing the amount of pollution vehicle produce and invest money to public transportation, such as train and busses. Also, government can encourage companies to use cleaner technologies. Without strong rules and support from government, its will be difficult to reduce the pollution levels.
On the other hand, some people believe that the individuals can also play an important role. People can choose to walk, cycle, or use public transport instead driving their own cars. They can also buy electronic vehicles if possible. If everyone will make small steps to reducing pollution. Together it can have big impact. Therefore personal responsibility is just important as government action.
In conclusion, I wan to say that the government and individuals must work together to solve transportation pollution. Government should create laws and system that encourage eco-friendly behavior, while individuals need to change their habits and make conscious decisions. Only through joint efforts can we effectively reduce the environmental damage caused by transportation.
