There is a starkly debate about will humanity’s future will be partly alternating by robot or will robot have detrimental impact to the society ? While developments in robotic technologies could have negatively effects in employment, I believe robot’s benefits in enhancing quality of life outweigh the drawbacks.

On the first hand, one prominent reason why robot will have adverse effect on individual and society is increasing the unemployment rate. Because of the advancing in humanoid and modern machine, manufacturing line start become automatic leading to a major sector in labour workforce becoming obsolete. Futhermore,by replacing human workers with robotic production line that could working 24/7, companys could reduce the cost in running employees and ensure the outcome will alway high in quantity and quality. For example, many big car company have already using robot-operated assembly line to do all the heavy works.

On the other hand, I believe, robotic developments could improving individuals quality of life by relieving the stress of doing unnecessary works. Several robots are programmed separately and are specially designed just to serve their own purpose. By dividing robot into different categories, they could get their given tasks done quickly and perfectly. For instance, vacuum cleaner or home AI-powered asisstant are now a must in every household families. By giving robot tedious and repetitive jobs, owners could free their time more and spend it in activities such as relax or acquiring new skills which ultimately improving their life.

Overall, despite responsibility for an significant increase in unemployment rate, robot still play an crucial role in the development of society.
