There are many people who believe that success seems to take root in diligence and determination, while others emphasize the role of money and attractive appearance in the workplace. This essay aims to elaborate on both opinions and present my viewpoint.
On the one hand, it is understandable why the importance of money and appearance cannot be denied. Factually, youngsters who are born in wealthy families or have an admirable background can gain a huge investment from an early age to be equipped with essential skills and knowledge. This creates a strong base for these children in their career prospects, opening up many chances to succeed. Additionally, in some fields, especially related to service or entertainment, such as models or singers, appearance plays a significantly vital role, as it can make a positive impression and boost confidence that might not be available to others. However, I think that while money and appearance can only open the doors, hard work and determination are factors keeping those doors open.
On the other hand, hard work and perseverance contribute significantly to success. First, young people who do not have a good educational foundation have to accumulate professional skills and experience to promote themselves. Therefore, thanks to continuous efforts, patience, and consistency, they succeed easier than those who started with better resources. Second, some professions, namely technology and science, require those who are passionate and persistent instead of good-looking, as they are willing to devote their time to learning and building their careers based on their own capabilities to pursue their dreams.
In conclusion, although money and appearance can bring about better beginning, a good impression, and confidence, in the long run, hard work and determination are more necessary factors, since they may help individuals overcome challenges and thrive in any field when others give up.
