Nowadays, people usually enjoy watching talent shows which are televised in many societies and gradually become popular. Someone thinks these shows are good ways to find talented individuals, while I believe that they are mainly created for entertainment.

To begin with, this kind of TV programs can give opportunities for ordinary people to illustrate their talents in front of a thousand of viewers. If contestants can make enough attraction to the audience, they will gain much attention from the public and be voted by the fans. This helps them have a sense of success, earn a lot of money and get a big fame, even after the shows. However, although there are many people win the shows, they cannot hold attentions are be forgotten by public’s eyes.

On the other hand, it can be seen that some designers of the shows intentionally make dramatic and embarrassing situations of participants to attract viewers. Lots of producers take advantages of famous participants for making highlighted scenes, which can help the shows become more interesting and full of entertainment. For example, Vietnam Next Top Model became popular thanks to their dramas, unexpected situations which were created before, successfully made excitement for viewers. This means some talent shows were not designed with the purposes that to find truly talented people, but just be made for entertainment and attractions.

In conclusion, talent shows can help someone become successful and famous which can change their lives. However, in my opinion, these programs just try to create attention and provide entertainment for watchers all the time.
