The human activities on land and in sea has major negative effects to the
natural environment. As a result more and more animal species are becoming extinct or endangered.
Humors cause great damage to the environment in many ways and that leads to the extinction of animal species. Overpopulation is one of the main issues that births various minor problems such as deforestation. With the increasing population the need for land increases. This leads to more and more trees being cut in order to gain space, the trees that once acted as a home to many animals. With the loss of their habitat the rate of their survival decreases significantly. Another reason of increasing extinction rates is sea pollution. One of the biggest reason of it is big ships. Massive ships that spend months in the sea can sometimes release their trash to the ocean. Those human waste pollutes seas and harms the natural ecosystem of the underwater. It can even injur sea animals by cutting or drowning them. As an example many turtles are found stuck in nets or injured by plastic cans along the coastline.
The need to decrease the extinction rates are vital. The solutions must be put through action immediately. First of all stricter regulations must be emposed to make people behave accordingly. More importance should be given to forestation activities and there should be restrictions relating constructions, that does not allow cutting too many trees. Generally more budget should be given in order to protect endangered species to prevent them becoming extinct.
To conclude governments should give more ımportance in the protection of animals. Non-profit organisation’s or individual’s efforts are not enough to make a change without help from authoritives. In order to prevent the extinctions of species a cooperative approach must be taken.
