The decrease in number of animals is becoming widespread all around the world because of human initiatives on land and at sea. This essay will discuss the causes of this problem and suggest a possible solution.
The primary reason as to why more and more animal species are becoming extinct is air pollution. Today, technologies are extremely developed, including cars, busses and other vehicles, which causes decline in the portions of different animal types such as birds. The second main reason is because of careless human behaviour. In the contemporary world, the “poisoned” water is becoming more common. People tend to forget that each piece of trash they throw away can affect the life of the animal species. For example, it is proven that the percentage of individuals who visit the countryside to enjoy the view of the mountains or rivers, end up leaving a lot gar after they leave, such as plastic cups, plates and garbage bags. As a result, a group of young researchers found that it affects the life of the animals negatively and harms them, often leading to death.
As to solve this problem, inventing strict rules, conducted by law would make a huge difference. People seem to be more aware of their actions when there are consequences. For instance, in Florida the percentage of decrease in animal species had a significant improvement after such initiative.
To conclude, the cause of this situation is human careless behavior towards animals such as air pollution and “poisoned” water, and to solve this problem – people have to beat the consequences of their actions.
