In the era of endangered species, many creatures are going extinct as a result of mankind’s actions. Deforestation projects and extreme climate shifts are mainly causing this. This essay will discuss these causes as well as proper solutions that the government can take to deal with them.
One of the main factors contributing to the extinction of species is undoubtedly deforestation. Because logging is increasingly spreading across the globe for a range of different purposes, it is leading to the loss of suitable habitat and food for forest animals and insects. As a result, these animals are either forced to migrate to other areas for survival, which often leads to their deaths, or have to starve due to the lack of food that was available before the logging projects. One effective way of dealing with this is the establishment of restraining laws for logging companies. Meaning, if the government limits the area available for deforestation and imposes fines for neglecting these limitations, the issue of deaths caused by forest clearance can be significantly minimized.
Another major reason for the extermination of wild animals is abnormal climate changes caused by factories. In other words, due to the abrupt development of manufacturing, there was a dramatic increase in carbon dioxide emissions. This resulted in a rise in temperature and, because of this, predators like polar bears are getting trapped on small and floating pieces of those melting glaciers. Consequently, polar bears cannot hunt their usual prey like sea fish or penguins and are unable to breed, which can lead to their soon extinction. This tragic problem can be solved by rescuing those isolated bears, and the Global animal protection department should set up rescue operations, thus ensuring the safety of polar bears and their preservation later in special cages.
In conclusion, although the extermination of species all over the world is dramatically increasing, several actions such as restriction of forest clearance and salvation can be taken by international governments that will tackle these problems, namely desertification, along with lost polar animals.
