Band 5+: The availability of entertainment such as video games on handheld devices is harmful to individuals and to the society they live in. To what extent do you agree and disagree?

Without a shadow of a doubt, in the contemporary era, the availability of entertainment devices will be injurious to people in the communities. Personally, I strongly agree with the given statement, and I will shed some light on this in the upcoming paragraphs with credible examples.

To begin with, in the modern era, every person use social gadgets such as mobile phones, laptops, and computers etc., from which people are unable to concentrate on their studies. In addition to this, these days, juveniles prefer to play online games on portable devices due to this they cannot strong their bonds with their friends and relatives. Sometimes, they behave very rudely with each other. Apart from this, the availability of electronic games has harmful effects on teenagers such as mental health, anxiety and depression. For instance, according to reports, in the present times, 95% of individuals use electronic devices from which they can lose their eyesight. Moreover, excessive games can negatively impact school work and study habits.

Furthermore, through online games, infant cannot develop their future and cannot achieve much knowledge regarding the culture and traditions. Moving further, is Deshpande too much time on social gadgets so they may not enhance their learning power, potential skills as well as cognitive abilities. Sometimes, their aggression may also incline and they cannot improve their motivation levels. To illustrate, according to surveys, 99% of people and children’s faced lot of problems in their lives nowadays, because they were spend much time own games due to this they can cause eye strain, neck pain, and repetitive stress injuries.

In conclusion, undoubtedly, mankind and societies should use portable devices according to their needs and they should spend too much time on education, outdoor games and job opportunities instead of electronic games.
