The bar chart under consideration represents a list of countries consuming and producing energy in 2014. Both, consumption and production are given in billions of Kilo Whats.
It can be clearly seen that the majority of countries are producing more electricity than consuming it. The only exception in the given array is Germany which is generating 526.6 billion kWh while its consumption is 582.5 billion kWh. As for the first place, it is taken by China whose output is 5398 billion kWh while its usage is 5322 billion kWh. As far as the second place is concerned, it is occupied by the United States which has the greatest difference between production and consumption which is equal to 233 billion kWh(4099 and 3866 respectively).
Overall the fact that is evident from studying the graph, that consumption and production of electricity are clearly connected with the amount of various factories in the given countries. Moreover, it can be clearly seen that now is not the best time to close nuclear and coal power stations because as far as we can see the statistics of Germany is the only country whose production is less in comparison to consumption.
