Overall, it’s evident that the rate in illiteracy in woman are heights when compared with the individuals of the male gender. East Asia, Africa, Arab States and South Africa are the regions with the greastest inequality between male and female, being the woman the ones with the lowest rate of education. On the other hand, developed countries in additon to being the countries with the highest education rate, they are also those with the smallest gender gap.
Developed countries have the highest literacy rate, with approximately 1% of the men and 2% of the female being illiterate.
America cames in second with 10% of the male and almost 13% of the femine gender being illiterate.
In contrast, Arab States and Sounth Asia are the countries with the highest illiteracy rate over the last year, having just under 30% of the men and a little over 50% of the woman illiterate in Arab States, while in South Asia around 35% of male and practically 60% of female are unducated.
